Unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Core/Server Side Java Application Developer with good database skills to join a strong, established Sydney Development Team, working within the applications development operations of one of the leading Global Financial Services Organisation in the World.
This challenging position will see you engaged on a variety of development projects and tactical solutions that compliment a current system upgrade and new Greenfield development across multiple business areas.
It is essential the successful candidates can demonstrate a solid understanding of Java development with SPRING, HIBERNATE, MAVERN which will be utilized in developing new applications on functions to a complex central finance system. We you be creating NEW COMPONENTS for this system with NO Maintenance work required. To successfully integrate these components you will need to draw on experience connecting to Back End SYBASE relational databases.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
5 years of Core Java Server Side Development Experience in Finance
Min 3 Years Experience with SPRING/HIBERNATE/MAVEN
Strong Sybase SQL Server is preferred as well as demonstrable knowledge and experience writing and debugging complex stored procedures and triggers.
Min 2 years experience with MQ Series
Exposure to Google Web Tool Kit (GWT)
Demonstrable Client Server development experience using Java.
Exposure to and basic understanding of Windows operating system and Unix/Linux.
