As part of a large scale growth plan, my client is currently looking for a Senior IT Risk Consultant to join their organisation. You will be accountable for the identification, mitigation and reporting of IT risk. This includes working within global and national regulations such as APRA.
As a Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Networking and maintaining positive relationships across the business.
Managing policy related issues
Project Management of IT Risk projects
Working with the business and IT departments to understand and manage risk
Once you get settled in, this role will develop further and become more complex in responsibility such as programme management.
To be successful in applying for this role you should have
Experience as an IT Auditor and/or IT Risk Manager
Consulting skills and ability to influence
Risk and policy experience
The ability to think outside the square
Most importantly you need to be able to communicate well at all levels of the business. You will be working with the CIO at times and therefore must have the ability to withstand pressure and influence.
