Equity Derivatives driven - Middle/Back Office Implementation experience!
My client is in the planning stages for an extensive programme of work across the BackOffice Operations area, where world-scale IT solutions are required to support this dynamic and rapidly growing business. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has recent Funds Management experience as well as Middle/Back Office experience.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
Defining new projects including scope, schedule, cost, resources, governance and benefits etc
Managing the full life cycle of project activities including risk and issues management, progress tracking, resource tracking, financials tracking and stakeholder management
Ensuring compliance with in-house project methodology
Ensuring deliverables meet the strategic objectives of the business
Ensuring IT security, risk, audit and compliance frameworks are implemented and followed.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools in the team and mentoring of less experienced project managers.
Your background will include:
Experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Knowledge of Funds Management business along with middle or Back Office systems implementation experience
Experience with formal project management methodologies
On a personal level you will have:
Excellent leadership, customer service capabilities and strong communication skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to both business and IT staff as required.
Ability to motivate and establish clear directions for the project team to follow
Proven experience in stakeholder management, including both IT and business, and up to executive-level management.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise these effectively.
Ability to work to a deadline and handle pressure
This position is an urgent requirement! My client will move fast for the right person!
