Due to continued growth, we are able to offer you the opportunity to become part of a high performing engineering and technical team throughout the South Pacific region. Based in Sydney, we are seeking a hands on, highly driven and degree qualified engineering manager to provide specialist expertise for mechanical equipment, particularly rotating machinery, strategic engineering support for plant operations in the region, to continually improve plant reliability, ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant rotating machinery and achieve productivity and cost goals.
This is a busy role that will offer you personal and technical challenges whilst offering fantastic development opportunities in a supportive environment. To be successful in these positions, you will need the following attributes;
* Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Several years experience in with rotating machinery
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and influence people
* Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance programs and project life cycles
* Strong experience with maintenance programs and EAM's
* Strong knowledge of design, materials of construction, component level equipment and manufacturing techniques and demonstratable experience in the maintenance of rotating equipment
This position will require you to undertake regular travel to various plants and remotely maintain relationships to ensure effective outcomes.
