Our client is a well recognised, international brand making a significant investment in the region. We seek an experienced Business Development Director to act as the single point of accountability for a given client business development channel. You will have prior experience managing the activities to identify and create new business revenue growth in the channel, externally and internally.
Your responsibilities will include:
To challenge the status quo and break new ground in the pursuit of commercial advantage in the ICT sector.
To manage a team of business development managers whilst developing key relationships with senior decision makers, internally or externally.
To seek innovative ways to expand the business scope of new and existing contracts.
Realise new opportunities, and embrace and assimilate new ways of working.
To deliver all business development channels performance targets.
The successful candidate will show capability in the following areas:
Significant experience of leading or managing major contracts, business development opportunities or other related positions
Visionary leader
Creative, innovative, strategic thinker
Exceptional negotiation, presentation and communication skills
Able to quickly build and maintain relationships at the most senior levels. Ability to lead others on an actual or virtual basis
Commercial understanding, including pricing models and business cases, and experience of project planning and delivery
