Our client is a major player in the FMCG market and is currently undergoing a significant period of growth. Strong sales and a dependable & high profile product base have allowed this company to sustain market share through the recent economic downturn, and they are in a position to take advantage of opportunties that will present themselves in the near future.
As a result of this positive action, an opportunity exits for a qualified accountant to undertake a site specific accounting role with a supply chain/logistics focus. The role will be responsible for providing financial advice and expertise to the Management team and will draw on your 7+ years of experience in FMCG to give relevance and credibility to your recommendations. The role will form part of the site management team.
To be considered for the role you MUST be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Tertiary qualifications in accounting (CPA/CA preferred not mandatory)
2. A minimum of 3 years experience in a cost accounting role within an FMCG/manufacturing environment
3. Experience working within the supply chain function
4. Strong financial reporting skills and experience
5. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organisation
