An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and focused Senior Pricing Specialist to join the team within this ASX blue-chip organisation. As a Senior Pricing Specialist and 2IC you will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, high quality, timely information around market competitive, commercially sound pricing solutions to support customer bids, tenders and price reviews.
You will take a proactive lead in strategic discussions on pricing for bids and tenders allowing the group to maximise opportunities within their top tier clients.
By demonstrating sound commercial acumen, you will identify business development opportunities to attract new business to the group to ensure profitable market share growth.
You will apply your strong financial modelling expertise to support the pricing process and demonstrate the ability to think creatively and produce solutions that are outside the standard pricing processes.
The role will be client facing from time to time when you will be expected to communicate the pricing and commercial terms to the customer.
The successful candidate will have had significant tenure within a financial/commercial function, preferably within a telecommunications environment. With exceptionally strong negotiation skills you will naturally possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills dealing with people at all levels and have a good eye for detail.
