Our client is a well known, brandname FMCG products manfacturing and distribution company. Their products are more than likely residing in your fridge or food cupboard.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be part of the Finance Team providing support to the Australian and New Zealand business. Your main responsibility will be to manage the pricing process for the assigned categories. Specifically this will include review of shelf and list price, terms and promotion pricing effectiveness.
To carry out your role effectively you will also need an in depth understanding of the FMCG/ Retail sector, an eye for detail with your financial analysis and be able to communicate effectively with other key stakeholders. You will be required to assist periodically with consolidated pricing reporting for the division along with systems management from time to time.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years FMCG experience in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as CA/ CPA
- Financial support & reporting in areas such as Promotional spend, Pricing, Forecasting/ Budgeting, New Product Development/ Introduction, Category profitability..
- Detailed person with strong financial acuman
- Effective communicator
- High computer literacy
