After shoeing horses for most of his life, Dennis Cherry has come to believe in the benefits to the horse of keeping them barefoot. He has been barehoof trimming for some years now, using a specialised method of hoof trimming (Equine Podiotherapy) for barefoot pleasure and performance horses, minis, draught breeds, donkeys and other equines.
Dennis has been trained by Andrew Bowe, the Barefoot Blacksmith (www.barehoofcare.com ). He is now working towards his Diploma of Equine Podiotherapy through the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy (www.equinepodiotherapy.com.au )
