I purchased a mini horse (part shetland) from a family at elizabeth town about 6 mths ago. They told me he(stallion then) was bred locally and that he was about 3 and was broken in. I cannot find where he came from. They did not even have a name for him. My farrier says he is approx 5 yrs. I have a mare in foal from him and I really want to know his history and am now trying this as my last resort. I have contacted brandings tas and sent a pic of what i think to be a branding and have got nowhere as it is unclear what the branding is. I have also contacted all local breeders in that area with still no luck. Please help if you can.
